Play By Post Dark Equestria Game

This thread is were the GM will post what is going on in the game. Also the Party Leader will post here the actions of the party. As this is the first post I will give a background and set up the scene for the players to begin on.

Disturbing shadows have grown long on the streets of Ponyburg and darkness blanketed the allyways. The day was falling into later afternoon and ponies were hurrying home, not wanting to be out when it became dark. Shops wer closing or finishing their day of business some glad for the day to be over.Yet many ponies didn't have a home, dirty foals and downtroddened mares trying to find a place to stay many begging for food or coin.
There were many ponies that lived in thid decaying city, corruption and theives common as the city's mayor worked hard to make sure she at least had some comfort. The rumors of her scandals and drinking problem well know to most. This was the city ponies went to when they could not live anywhere else, making it overcrowded and dirty.

Most of the party gather inside the local inn.

Necrose, Zathra and Jace enter as companions, and Jace puts forward an offer to a filly he meets, Spell, to travel with them upon which she accepts.

Goldenwings enters the inn under the guise of a priest of Celestia. Hawthorn approaches the newcomer under this impression, only to learn that the pegasus is not all what he appears to be.

Sunset arrives at the scene with a message of an upcoming attack from the Royal Guard and pleads for the ponies to flee. The party discusses whether to run or stay and fight. Hawthorn and Sunset insist that resisting them is futile, while Zathra pushes for the others to make their stand.

Necrose convinces Goldenwings to aid them without payment and also keep his charade intact. Hawthorn eventually gives in and opts to help fight back the Royal Guard, offering his knowledge of the local area. Goldenwings attempts to have Sunset see past her devotion to Celestia but fails, and the mare leaves the scene. The party agrees to hold out on a hill at the south end of town and heads out to the location.
